The size and weight of this thing, comparable to other portable hard drives, is promising. But a deal breaker for me (a la Liz Lemon) is the fact that it cannot join your existing network and has to make a new one. This means that nothing else can be connected to the same network when you’re using it. Also, the lack of WebDAV or FTP means you have install a utility on each computer, even if you just want to quickly drag a file off.
