Why would they make another one? Seriously…. I’m waiting for an answer.
Oh, Steve. Why did you have to do this?

So, I haven’t posted in this thing in about a year apparently.

OK, so I don’t know if I did the last time I posted in this but I work for Apple and have been for the past year. It’s amazing and now I’m a Genius, word.

Last week, I moved to Ocean Grove, right in between Asbury Park and Belmar. It’s a really cool, really peaceful town. My apartment is kind of small but I make do.

Some friends are coming over tonight so I’m psyched.

Game?

This is some sort of game that Eric Smith wants me to play. This is taken from Eric’s site:

“So a couple of bloggers are playing a little game based on meme, a concept that Tim made me read about on Wikipedia, cause my brain to ache a little, but interesting never the less. My pal Mark over at The Poverty Jet Set and of Cheap Dates fame sent a tag my way, so it’s time to play along!

Rules:
1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged write their own blog post about their eight things and include these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and that they should read your blog.”

My (Alex) Eight Random Facts:

1. I was born 92% deaf. Through various surgeries, tubes in my ears and years and years of speech therapy, I am as close as I’ll ever be to being able to hear fully but I do experience difficulty. I said my first word when I was six and I remember saying it.

2. The first CD I ever bought was Coolio’s Gangsta Paradise. I conned my grandmother to buy it for me at the record store that used to be in the Shoprite plaza on Oak Tree Road in Edison. The first CD I ever listened to was a CD by MC Hammer which I rented from the Monroe Township Library.

3. I’ve had like 47 jobs, my longest being my close to four years at Commerce Bank.

4. I’ve had a good amount of cars (from most recent): 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1991 Jeep Cherokee, 1990 Toyota Celica, 2002 Dodge Neon, 2001 Jeep Wrangler, 1973 Plymouth Duster

5. I’ve gotten in some wierd jams with my car. One time I drove off a cliff near my home in Altoona, PA but a tree branch coming out of the huge cliff caught my car. I truck pulled it back out and I drove home.  Another time I flipped over my 73 Duster a couple of times and wound up vertical in between two trees. I climbed outside of my passenger side window and jump down, fucking up my hip and knee in the process. I never went to the doctor, my friend pulled me out and I called my dad and told him I just went off the road a little bit (that thing was a fucking tank, no dents). My leg still sucks to this day.

6. I moved to Monroe from Bloomsbury, NJ (near the Delaware Water Gap) when I was five weeks old but did most of my growing up at my grandparent’s home in Edison.

7. The vast, vast majority of my life has been spent drug and alcohol free.

8. All Records wasn’t my first company. I’ve owned various design, print and media firms and also hosted an national internet call-in radio show while in middle school which was very close to being picked up by CN8 in Philadelphia to turn into a round-table teenager TV show.

I gotta figure out eight friends of mine that keep blogs. I’ll post them later.

Why The Hell Am I Doing This?

Why the hell am I giving my whole day up tomorrow to help out some company I’ve never heard of with two foreign dudes I’ve never met and not get paid for a week and I don’t even know how much I’m getting paid? Why can’t I just say no to people?
